🏫 🚇 Parc Metro Station on the Blue Line of The Montreal Metro 🔵 Exterior + interior views included
Here is Parc Metro Station, on the Blue Line of the Montreal Metro 🔵
I love the exterior and interior architecture of the main entrance building. In fact, the building was once a former train station Canadian Pacific train station. Once inside, you will think you are inside a train station rather than a metro station.
In this video, I show you the exterior of the metro station as well as a look at the interior at street level. The ornate architecture inside reflects a much earlier period. Then we go down the escalators and eventually make it to the platforms.
There is an interesting work of art on each platform: A wall that is painted different colors and changes colors at different angles. This is especially interesting when passing through the station on a metro train.
Some facts about Parc Metro Station:
- The metro station was opened in June, 1967.
- The actual building used to be a Canadian Pacific train station, until trains were rerouted to Central Station downtown.
- There is a train station nearby called Parc, which serves the Saint-Jerome line of the commuter train network (EXO).
Address: 7245, rue Hutchison, H3N 2X9
