How To Grow Jade Houseplants Indoors + Repot, Prune & Propagate Crasula Plants

In 2018 I introduced the Jade Plant as one of the easiest houseplants for beginners when it comes to caring for them. I still stand by that statement today. 3 years later my jade plant has grown to the tree like plant I wanted, with thick trunks and branches. In this video, I share how to care and grow the jade plant from baby plant into a large plant. Although the jade plant thrives in warmer climate as an outdoor plant, they can grow to be big and beautiful as an indoor houseplant. To grow healthy jade plants indoor you'll want to make sure you can provide a lot of bright indirect light, with even a few hours of direct sunlight. I have mine near my south facing window. Because these are succulent they retain a lot of the water in their trunk and leaves, so watering less is always best.

I'll also cover some of the common issues or problems you’ll often experience when caring and growing a jade plant indoors, like pest, dropping of leaves and root rot. We also do a bit of repotting, pruning and propagation. Enjoy.
