How To Paint Car at Home - Step 3: Last Minute Body Work & Flux Core Welding

Had to do some final last minute body repairs to a rust spot I thought I could save. But unfortunately the rust development rotted out the existing metal so i had no choice but to cut it out and repair it with new metal. Still managed to take off lots of stuff on the car, including the doors and hatch, managed to sand down all the door jams, and get the rest of the car prepped for paint. Next video I will still go over the entire car making sure not a single spot was missed/scuffed. This weekends goal is to apply primer, deadlines are tight and I want to have this car painted by end of this month, I need this car on the road. So hopefully no more hiccups anywhere along the way. I have been using 120 grit to sand down the car by the way, and on the heavy rusted areas, I have been using 80 grit to knock that rust down so epoxy can seal it properly. I'll probably convert/etch it to ensure that it resolves future corrosion development. The welder I am using to make the repairs and closures to the radio antenna is a mig 140 lincoln welder, flux wire 0.030 gauge in case anyone is wondering.
