Magic the Gathering is an amazing game, and easily the most fun you could extract from compressed tree pulp and some nicely arranged ink. As we saw in my previous video, Magic the Gathering's Many Scandals, there are some hilarious and fascinating stories and dramas, or 'scandals', that pop up in Magic the Gathering from time to time. With a fanbase of this size, it really is inevetable that we'll have something like crackstyle, wherein Magic the Gathering player Sid Blair posed next to a few errant cracks at Grand Prix Richmond, before going viral on Reddit. Other Many Scandals include artist dramas, such as the controversial banned card Invoke Prejudice, or the art theft by Jason Felix on the Crux of Fate card, or the erasure of Chandra and Nissa's romantic relationship in the War of the Spark: Forsaken novel. Finally, the Player Riot of 1997 saw a number of Magic the Gathering professional players storm the stage and demand the final match be retaken, after player David Mills was disqualified for repeatedly breaking a minor rule.
