Hey, everyone, I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our MORryde cargo slide. This is gonna be a two-way cargo slide that we're gonna take a look at inside of our 2023 Fleetwood Discovery LXE motorhome. Now, this one fits almost perfectly inside that basement area of our motorhome. So if this is a motorhome that you have and you're looking to add on slides, or you have a different one and you would like to upgrade or replace your cargo slides, let's take a look at some features and specs to help you out. Now, not everyone has a cargo slide pre-fitted into their motorhome, but this is definitely something a lot of people add into their basement storage area because while you might have a lot of basement storage area, not everyone can reach the things in there.

It does make it a large hassle to get to the items that might be organized towards the center of your motorhome. But with a cargo slide like this, this now makes your cargo and your items a lot more accessible. Now, this is gonna be a 60% slide, which what that means is when you slide it out on whichever side of the tray, it goes out all the way to 60%. So you get to the halfway point. Now there are cargo slides that go out 80%, but you don't get the same type of weight capacity or specs with those.

So your 60% is what's gonna be what fits in your motorhome. With this slide, you're gonna get a good amount of weight capacity at 800 pounds total, and you can stack a decent amount of items on here. The main thing you are gonna have to be mindful of though is staying within the dimensions of your actual tray, and also not going too high up where that may cause issues when you're sliding things through. So your highest point is gonna be about the top of this propane tank, which sits from the bottom of the tray to the top of the tank, 19 inches. So a decent amount of space there for most types of things.

If you're replacing this part, or you're adding on your cargo slides for your motorhome because you need that access to space, it's important to know your basement door opening, and that will help you make sure you get the right one. So for our site, we say 90 inches by 39 inches, and that's a very generous measurement. Your exact measurements are going to be for the tray dimensions, which in our case here is 35 7/8 inch. That's outside to outside. But you'll also want to know your inside tray dimensions, which here is about 33 1/2, or 34 inches if you count the bolts that are inside.

So those things will help you figure out what items you can put in the slide, but also help figure out if you can put the slide in your basement. This tray, while it does arrive preassembled, it is installed into your motorhome with these brackets over here. So the brackets have these rollers on them, and that's what the tray sits on, but also rolls on. So to roll this out, you lift up the lever and you roll the system out. And this is another really good time to talk about how you do not need the extra height adjustment kit. So the height kit is for motorhomes that have a larger threshold and they need to go up and over. In our case here, this fits perfectly. There's even a little bit of a gap in case something gets caught underneath, you're able to roll everything out and slide everything right back in. This lever holds the tray in so it doesn't slide around as you are driving around. So always remember to lift that lever up whenever you want to slide. And you'll see this on the other side. And this is what that looks like on the other side. And this is also a great way to talk about it is still a little heavy. Now, if you did have 800 pounds weighted on your slides, you are not sliding out 800 pounds, but you're still holding a bit of that weight there. Now as I slide it out to its full extension right there, this is a good visual of that 60% extension. So, remember, those sewer hose holders and how we saw them on the other side of the motorhome Well, we see them again here. So in reality, you are gonna get full access to all your cargo, you just may have to go back and forth around your motorhome to get at all the things.
