Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty. I'm gonna walk through how to install Air Lift's WirelessONE Air Compressor System. Our neighbor that owns this 2019 has a large fifth wheel trailer and travels the country frequently, and decided they wanted to make life a lot easier when filling their airbags. If you're considering a compressor system, it's gonna have its benefits. You can monitor your air pressure, inflate and deflate your airbags on demand from the comfort of the driver's seat.

Now there are two types of compressor setups. One is gonna be an analog style, and how that works is you have a compressor that mounts outside, your lines run to your bags, but you're also gonna have lines and wires that you gotta route inside the vehicle. You gotta find somewhere to mount the gauges. Nowadays, newer vehicles, there's not a whole lot of room in the cab of the vehicle, so adding that analog gauge is kind of going away. The second type is wireless.

The wireless mounts outside the vehicle, run your lines to your airbags, run your power to your battery. The only thing you have inside is a controller. It has a visor clip so you can leave it in your vehicle all the time. Not only do you have a controller, but you can also use your cell phone. So it's gonna make the installation much easier and usage much easier.

The WirelessONE Air Compressor System has a lot of great benefits. It's gonna be a single path setup, which means it's gonna air both bags up at the same time. That's gonna be really beneficial, for instance, like our neighbor hauling a fifth wheel around the country because he can adjust that air pressure on the fly depending on how he feels that the ride needs to be. Maybe he needs more air pressure or less air pressure depending on how the trailer is towing. It makes it easy because now, he's not gonna have to stop every other gas station to adjust that air pressure until he finds how he likes that ride.

He can do it from the comfort of his driver's seat. The second option is a dual path compressor system, which means that you can air the bags up independently. Those are more gonna be designed for your off-center loads. Maybe you have a toolbox or something on one side of the truck and you need more air pressure in that to level out your truck so it rides a lot better. You can find both those options here at Etrailer. If you wanna go a step farther than that, maybe look into getting an air tank along with your compressor set up. Adding an air tank, because that air tank stores pressure, it's gonna allow your compressor to to run a lot less because you're using the air pressure in the tank to fill your bags, deflate, and inflate your bags. So the longevity of the compressor is gonna last a lot longer. That being said, the compressor by itself is gonna last a long time, as long as you maintain it. There is minimal maintenance to it. There is an air filter, you just wanna make sure you check the air filter. It comes with some new filter, so regularly check that. Check your lines to make sure you don't have any leaks. Look over your bags and make sure they're not damaged or anything like that, and your compressor will last you for years and years to come. With all that being said, WirelessONE is a great option for an air compressor setup, especially, like I mentioned, like our neighbor hauling single trailer across the country. Again, it's gonna make it a lot easier for you to adjust that pressure in your bags on the fly to make that ride a lot more comfortable. As far as the installation process, it's simple, straightforward, a few simple tools. Mount the air compressor, run your lines back tied into your airbag lines that are already there, run a couple of wires up to your battery, and it's pretty much the setup.
