WWE ALTERNATE BOOKINGS: Wrestlemania XII (1996)

As we continue the series in the long anticipation for the 40th anniversary of Wrestlemania, up next is Wrestlemania 12. It took place on March 31st, 1996 at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim infront of 18,853 fans with a 290,000 pay-per-view buy. The show was hosted by Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler with Mr. Perfect, Todd Pettengil and Dok Hendrix at interviews. The main event was the hour long "Iron Man" match between WWF Champion Bret "the Hitman" Hart vs. Shawn Michaels.

This is followed by the Hollywood Backlot Brawl between Goldust and Rowdy Roddy Piper, and the Undertaker vs. Diesel. Also in action was the return of the Ultimate Warrior taking on Triple H. Many WWF Superstars took part in the event from Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vader, Yokozuna, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Ahmed Johnson, to the Bodydonnas with Sunny.

We attempt to make a longer, more worthwhile alternate card that would make it rewatchable. There is no Huckster or Nacho Man here.
