WWE ALTERNATE BOOKINGS: SummerSlam 88 (1988)

With less than two months away from SummerSlam 2023, we wanted to present an alternate card to the very first SummerSlam, which took place on August 29th, 1988 at Madison Square Garden infront of 20,000 fans. The main event that night was between the Mega Powers: Hulk Hogan and WWF Heavyweight Champion Randy "Macho Man" Savage with manager Miss Elizabeth taking on the Mega Bucks: The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and Andre the Giant with managers Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and bodyguard Virgil. Also Jesse Ventura is Special Guest Referee.

With a few notable mentions such as the Ultimate Warrior winning the Intercontinental title and Miss Elizabeth's so-called "itsy bitsy tiny" reveal, the event was somewhat disappointing. We attempt to make a stronger card to make it more enjoyable.
