Saving a Fruit Tree from Breaking

This year our sustainable, (permaculture) organic, food forest started early, and our trees (our peach trees. in this case) are already loaded with fruit.

The trees are bearing so much fruit, that the branches are about to break under the strain, so in order to save the tree, and my fruit for the year, I braced up the bending branch with two 2 x 4 s, until harvest time comes.
