Lemons Growing in the Appalachian Mountains
I grow citrus trees in my Secret Greenhouse of Survival during the winter, and then I move them (in pots) out to my garden to take full advantage of sun and pollinating insects like honey bees.
Even though I live in a climate that would not support these citrus trees year round, I can still harvest oranges and lemons in the Appalachian mountains by growing these in my insulated greenhouse in the winter.
