small batch buckeyes (& bonus coconut candies)

I made buckeyes for the first time! They're kind of like gourmet Reese's peanut butter cups. The whole recipe makes 60 candies, which is way too much for just my husband and me, so I made a quarter recipe and wound up with 12 buckeyes (I rolled mine a little big.)

I also made a very small batch of my Christmas coconut balls.

My reduced recipe: (makes 12-15 buckeyes)
3/8 cup peanut butter (I did not use the natural unsalted/unsweetened stuff)
½ a stick (4 TBS) unsalted butter
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
¾-1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
