Using up old yogurt and fruit with a smoothie

I make this simple yogurt-based smoothie often to use up old yogurt and fruit. Add this easy recipe to your arsenal to reduce food waste.

Serves 1
Blend in a blender until smooth:

1/2 cup plain, full fat yogurt (or use whatever you have)
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen fruit
1-2 tsp sugar (optional)
1/4-1/2 tsp any seasoning you like (optional): vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, green cardamom, almond extract, etc.)
