Jumping for Joy and Finding wild PASSION FRUIT!

Raising children while living off the grid is so fun! Even checking the mail is an adventure, especially when it's getting close to Christmas and the mailbox is full. The kids find a huge patch of chickweed on the way out the back door. Once we get to the mailbox, we see dark clouds that look like rain is imminent, so we race back to the house. But not so fast we can't stop and check out some wild food! Murray jumps for joy as he runs back practicing how to leap, and stick the landing. On the way back, Amelia finds a RIPE wild passion fruit on the ground and devours it. Although the vine has been frost-killed, its still delicious. So Murray grabs one too. Life is so much fun with kids that love to play outdoors and find adventure in our permaculture gardens.
