Hassan is a medical student and a volunteer. He shares how the death of a young mother after childbirth, due to excessive bleeding, at a hospital where he was being trained had influenced him to take his part in the War against Maternal Mortality. A Medical Student at Amoud University’s School of Medicine and General Surgery.
He is an avid campaigner for a Better Health Care System for all Somalilanders, he is also involved in projects to reduce the national maternal and infant mortality rate.
He is also a volunteer at Somaliland Lifemakers, a Mentor at the Non-formal Education Sector of the Awdal Regional Office of Ministry of Education and He works as an Online Program Officer for Islamic Online University.
