Why Do Pakistani Men Are Falling in Love with Filipinas?
There is a popular love affair that is gaining traction in social media nowadays. It is about the Pakistani men falling in love with Filipinas. In fact, this, too, is also gaining a lot of attention even in Pakistan.
Interestingly, this so-called love affair with a Filipina is not only prevalent among single Pakistani men. A lot of married Pakistani men are also into romantic relationships with Filipinas. Whether or not these Filipinas know of their boyfriends’ marital status is still a question that remains to be answered.
In a post on Facebook addressed to its members in a Pakistani-Filipina Love Story group, a Pakistani woman sought an answer why her husband had left her for a Filipina. She was desperately asking for an answer as to what does a Filipina can have that could make her husband abandon her.
In this video, we interviewed three Pakistani men inside Pakistan about their opinion on Filipinas for a serious relationship. Asking these men to talk about their opinion about their likings of Filipinas, though, required some tremendous effort.
Despite this relationship trend being an open secret among Pakistani men, not many from among them can have the courage to admit their emotional desire on Filipinas in public because of possible repercussions from their families.
Pakistan’s conservative marriage culture requires that men should be married-off only to their cousins or distant relatives. Every single adult male in the village is most likely engaged already to his cousin because a marriage outside the family circle is an anomaly in a Pakistani family culture.
But with this emerging phenomenon however, this conservative culture may soon to slowly open-up.
