Always on the hunt for delicious Portuguese food, we find ourselves enjoying seafood at the Cascais marina and canned seafood in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal. We drink it all down with lots of Sangria and explore the sweet world of Ginjinha.

Valério is a beautiful restaurant at the Cascais Marina with friendly staff and excellent service. The seafood is fresh from the area, and they are very knowledgeable about the food they serve. Gorgeous clams, sea bass, and fantastic Sangria make for a memorable time.

We join up with our friends to explore some of their favorite local eats. We stop at Ginginha do Carmo Kiosk in the Praça do Comércio and honestly try some of the very best Ginjinha. The secret is don’t order it with fruit and have it in a chocolate cup. Refills are free if you don’t eat the cup on the first swig.

From there, we head to Pink Street and enjoy the canned seafood at Sol e Pesca. It was a former fishing shop and still has those fishing shop vibes. The menus come with poles on them! With an expansive display inside of canned seafood, one can feel intimidated about making a choice, but you really can’t go wrong. It can be crazy delicious, and this is the place to give it a try!
