Punta Uva: Good Times In The Caribbean After Taxi Piracy in San Jose

Blatant taxi ripoffs in San Jose, Costa Rica. The service is poorly regulated—even the locals fall victim. Unless there is something you really want to see in San Jose, our advice is to stay in nearby Alajuela, which is the country's second biggest city and is the location of the main airport. On a more upbeat note, we show our footage of the change of scenery from San Jose to Punta Uva, where we stayed. Also on camera is our accommodation, Hotel Sol de Nit and, last but not least, the country's lovely nature and beaches.
