Miley Cyrus (The Last Song, Black Mirror) stars as Miley Stewart / Hannah Montana, a teenage girl balancing her normal life with global pop stardom—until fame begins to take over. After things spiral out of control in Los Angeles, Miley’s father Robby Ray Stewart (Billy Ray Cyrus — Doc, Still the King) takes her back to their hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee, in hopes of reconnecting her with her roots. There, Miley rediscovers what truly matters while navigating relationships with her childhood friend Travis Brody (Lucas Till — X-Men: First Class, MacGyver) and dealing with a journalist determined to expose her secret identity.
The film features standout moments including Miley’s emotional performance of “The Climb,” the large-scale benefit concert to save the town, and the dramatic reveal of her double life to the community. Alongside her are familiar faces from the series, including Emily Osment (Young & Hungry, The Kominsky Method) as Lilly and Jason Earles (Kickin’ It, Hotel Du Loone) as Jackson, adding the humor and friendship fans love.
