Set over a decade after the original film, this sequel expands the world of Pandora with a focus on family, survival, and the deep connection between the Na’vi and their environment.

Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans, Hacksaw Ridge) returns as Jake Sully, now fully living as a Na’vi and raising a family with Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldaña (Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek). When a new human threat arrives—led once again by the resurrected Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang — Don’t Breathe, Public Enemies)—Jake is forced to relocate his family to the oceanic regions of Pandora, where they seek refuge with the reef-dwelling Metkayina clan, led by Tonowari (Cliff Curtis — Fear the Walking Dead, Training Day) and Ronal (Kate Winslet — Titanic, Mare of Easttown).
The film is packed with breathtaking sequences, including the immersive underwater exploration of Pandora’s oceans, high-speed aquatic chases, and the emotional bond between the Na’vi and the tulkun creatures. Standout moments include the Sully family learning the ways of the water, the intense final battle aboard the sinking sea vessel, and the film’s powerful themes of family unity and protecting one’s home at all costs.
