“Copla Española” is a traditional artistic genre combining music, lyrics and interpretation. Other names have been given to this genre, namely: Spanish song, Andalusian copla or folklore song. Lyrics in coplas address subjects such as love, disappointment, jealousy, sadness or happiness.
Ballet Español de Lucía del Real y el Camborio
José el Camborio (Elvezio Brancaleoni Caballero, Veneto, Italia 1939 – Madrid, España 2009), Italian father, his mother was of Spanish origin. With his Spanish wife (Flamenco dancer) he founded the "Ballet Español de Lucía del Real y el Camborio" in the 1970s. The present performance of the group probably took place in Milan (recorded by Italian TV).
