2022 Genesis G70 Sport review | Australia
In this video, we review the new Genesis G70. The smallest luxury sedan offered by the new Korean luxury brand Genesis.
For the G70 there are two engine options to choose from, starting with a 2 L inline 4 and a 3.3 L V6. The entry-level one comes with 185 kW of power and 353 Nm of torque.
The second choice is the V6 3.3 Lambda II. The lovely twin-turbo beast gives 274 kW of power and 510 Nm of torque from 1300 revs to 4500 revs. This engine has a variable exhaust valve system and a Dynamic AWD system which has a drift mode. You know, like the E63 has.
The official acceleration time to 100 is 4.7 seconds.
Pricing for the G70 starts at 63k for the entry smaller-engined option and this sport edition will take you up to 76k. Both can get the additional luxury pack which we have for an extra 10k.
To wrap up the Genesis G70 comfortably competes against the german rivals in this segment. It’s the new kid on the block, but it’s not pulling punches. It’s impressed us in every category.
