In this video, Jenny reviews the 2022 Volkswagen Polo GTI. This year we reviewed the i20N, and the Yaris GR and now we check out the latest 2022 Polo GTI. When we did the i20 N review we did reference against the Polo GTI a lot.
This new Polo GTI is better equipped and more expensive than the previous one and Volkswagen is definitely not the company to take the market conditions lightly, so I was sure I was going to like the Polo GTI even before I drove it.
The Polo GTI is powered by a 2 L TSI turbo petrol engine with 147 kW and 320 Nm of torque. Officially, it consumes 6.5 L of fuel per 100 km It covers the 0-100 sprint in 6.8 seconds.
The Polo GTI costs $38,750 MSRP. You get a 5-year warranty with no limit in km, as well as roadside assistance and capped price servicing, which costs $1400 or $2750 for 3 or 5 years of coverage, respectively.
If hot hatches are your cup of cake, then the VW Polo GTI is definitely worth it.
