Vacuum Tube Amp for Pro Audio

The Pro Audio 24 track recording studio is the RDS-1 we designed and built from scratch over 10 years ago and is powering the vacuum tube amp to test its compatibility with pro audio. It works well and is ideal for home and recording studio use. You should have a high quality vacuum tube preamp to interface your CD player, record player, DVD player and digital audio sources to drive our vacuum tube properly. Transistors are dead!

The tubes pictured here are EL84 power tubes used as driver tubes for the 6L6GC power tubes. They are capable of 60 watts in push pull configuration as is being tested. We tested the KT88EH power tubes in place of the 6L6GC and they are even better, but the power supply we are using was meant for the 6L6GC so it won't over heat. The circuit we will be sharing in the book were are writing for this project will allow you to easily upgrade to 100 watt output using the KT88EH. The 6L6GC are way loud enough for a desktop vacuum tube amp and the KT88EH are going to be over kill. But if you need that power our book will have the specs for the KT88EH also.
