How to Set Up and Use TikTok Search Widget on iPhone in 2024

With so many people now posting useful and educational content on TikTok, the app has become a go-to place for many people to search for information. Want to be able to search TikTok right from your home screen? Now you can! Watch this video to learn how to get and use the TikTok search widget for iOS devices.

To get the TikTok search widget, you’ll first need to have the TikTok app already installed and be logged into your account there. Then, Hold your finger down in the empty space on your home screen. Tap the plus sign in the top left corner. Then type TikTok into the search bar. Now you’ll be able to see all the various TikTok widget options available, including create a story, TikTok rewards, trending now, Live now, and last but not least is the Search widget. When you find the search option, tap Add Widget at the bottom to add it to your home screen. Then you can drag the widget to wherever you want it to sit on your home screen. When you’re happy with the layout, tap Done in the top right corner to save it. To use this widget, you can tap the Search bar, Following icon, Post icon, or Inbox icon to be taken directly to the corresponding page within the TikTok app. This shortcut is very useful and saves you a few clicks so you don’t have to navigate within the app itself.
