Apologies for the lack of narration. I had explained everything as clearly as I could, only to find that I somehow deleted the audio channel while using a new editing software (Lightworks. I don't recommend it tbh. Premiere Pro FTW).

This mod allows the user to fit the classic style Thinkpad keyboard in xx30 series machines and to remove the Battery validation check so you can use generic batteries. It was created by Hamish Coleman and can find links to his work below.

If you are changing to the classic keyboard, be sure to pay extra attention to the minor modification needed to the connector. More on this here.
