#FMJSummit: What's it like to work in museum archives?

This session will explore what it's like to work in museum archives. The panel will discuss what skills and experiences are needed to excel at this work and ways for emerging professionals to get onto these career paths. We will discuss the highs and the lows working in these areas, and end with a Q&A session, inviting questions from session participants.

- Gary Haines, Archivist, RAF Museum, worked as an archivist for over 20 years, both as a volunteer then a professional. Have also worked for two years in a Front of House role supporting access. Passionate about access, breaking down barriers and telling stories from the archive.
