How Long Before You Start Seeing Results - Reflections From My Fitness Journey

In this video I dive into the topic of how long does it usually take to see results from training and eating properly. Often I'll get asked by guys who trained a month or two "Why am i not seeing results in the gym?!".

And I get that. We definitely need to see results to stay motivated.

Now, the question is how much do you expect to see?

Reality is we've been lied to by the fitness media, supplement companies and marketing that we can make these HUGE transformations within a matter of weeks.

And the truth is that that will take time, often years before you can completely change your body.

When you go into this journey having the wrong expectations you'll get easily demoralized and you won't appreciate the progress you make.

The progress will definitely be there as long as you're getting stronger, hitting your macros and your calories that gains will come.

And the question is just are you "surrendering" to the process.

If you're putting in 100% effort and you're making progress there's really nothing to be worried about.

Often we'll judge ourselves too hard or compare ourselves to others who might be progressing faster.

Truth is, you're individual genetic blueprint and your unique life situation will greatly determine how fast you're gonna see results.

And there's really not much you do about that but to continue educating yourself, improving your knowledge and putting in the repetitions.

It comes down to putting in the effort and celebrating all the small victories along the way.

The journey is long and hard. It's your duty to make it fun and enjoyable.

Motivation will come from taking action and from finding joy in this progress.

If you're waiting for some grand change or some big milestone before you give yourself props you might be waiting for too long.

I often see this as a case where guys give up because they just couldn't accept the fact that some things just take time.

Maybe you're doing everything perfect but you just need a bit more time until it "clicks".

Remember, your body can only change so much so make sure to match your expectations with that.

And don't let the media trick you into believing that there's some kind of easy, fast way of doing things.

Real change takes time and a ton of effort.

The best you can do is accept that fact and then do the best you can. Other than that no one can judge you or say anything.
