There has been a change in the orphanage too as Lammie and Nungu now sleep in the nursery alongside Khanyisa rather than in the same nursery. Khanyisa is simply getting too big to give her sheep friends the space they safely need to rest alongside her, and with Nungu being under the weather recently, we thought it a good time for Nungu to have some space to herself.

We’re so thrilled that Dr Rogers was able to get Nungu back to top top shape with vitamins and extra boosters. We hope her health remains steady even as we are aware that she is a very old lady now.

Khanyisa of course has to rummage around in the Sheep Nursery, to suss out her neighbours’ pad. She steals the sheep food bowl and takes it for a run around the garden before Herman retrieves it.

Adine leaves to check on Fishan and the other elephants and later Khanyisa comes running to meet her and to play in the cut grass… before the day with the herd starts.
