Innovative Yoga Asana (Innovasana): Sagittarius
Brief alignment: Start at the center of the mat. Lift the right leg up and open the hip out. Yogic toe lock the right big toe with the pointer and the middle finger as you bring the left hand to the right groin. Tilt left and elevate the right leg as high as you can, so it looks like an extended bow.
Benefits: Promotes balance and stability; opens the hips, and stretches the hamstrings.
Contraindications: Vertigo, hamstring and hip injury.
