Mee Penang Istimewa | Special Penang Mee Recipe | Rahiza Dorah

My mum had been making this noodle since I was young but I have never seen it sold anywhere in Singapore.  Not like this at least. Some people said it's like Mee Bandung or Prawn Mee, but it's not. If you try this recipe, you can never go wrong. It's really delicious. I don’t know where my mum got this recipe from.  I'm not sure even if it originated from Penang… hahahaa… but if I ask her now, she will not remember anything.  So I’m happy to share this, what I call a Classic Recipe in my family. 

This recipe I made in the video is for 10 to 12 adult.  You can reduce the ingredients if you wish to make for a few people only.  The soup should be a bit sour and sweet and it should be eaten hot just like any other soup noodle.
