I finally climbed La Maroma – Málaga’s highest mountain

A short film documenting my hike from Canillas de Aceituno to the top of La Maroma — the highest mountain in Sierra de Tejeda and in the entire province of Málaga (2069m / 6788ft).

I took a bus from El Morche to Torre del Mar, then a special bus (Carlos) from the Torre del Mar bus station to Canillas de Aceituno. To get back home, I had to take a taxi from Canillas de Aceituno to Torre del Mar.

I've been wanting to climb #LaMaroma for six years, but I didn't think it was possible without a car, so I never got around to it until now. This little adventure gave me some much needed vitality and inspiration.
