Climbing El Cielo (1508m) above Nerja
When I moved to Nerja in early March 2017 and looked up towards the mountains, I felt a childlike wonder.
I've always loved seas and mountains, and now I lived next to both. I wanted to climb all the peaks, and to my surprise, it's actually possible.
The mountain that looks most majestic and appears to be the tallest from Nerja is El Cielo, but Navachica in the background is actually 300 meters higher.
I've climbed El Cielo four times and this is some of the views from my hikes
