(EP6) Over the Mountains - Devils Postpiles & Hot Springs at Mammoth Lakes

We made it out of the heart of Yosemite before they shut off the gas due to the wildfire, and started making our way out of the park.

After stopping at a pretty lake along the way, we arrived in Mammoth Lakes for the evening. We had breakfast at the Breakfast Club, a cash-only, delicious local spot.

We did some work in town before heading 25 minutes out to do a short hike hike to check out the Devil's Postpile, a natural formation of hexagonal rock (https://www.nps.gov/depo/index.htm).

We then headed out to Shepherd Hot Springs to soak up and relax and camp for the night (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/shepherd-hot-spring).
