(EP23) How Our Long-Distance Friendship Works

The friends you meet in college (and other post-high school programs) CAN be your friends for life, and that's just what's happened with Synthia and I. We met more than 12 years ago when we were roommates at the Honor Academy (see EP20 for mine and Danny's visit to the old campus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3u0EvXpaNY8).

Since our year together at the Honor Academy, we've only seen each other twice, and the last time was back in 2009 when Synthia was a bridesmaid for our wedding.

But we're SO glad to get the chance to see each other in person and hang out for a few days! Synthia and her husband Trent opened up their home and welcomed us to Oak Ridge in Tennessee for a week, where Danny and I stop on our journey across the U.S.

In this episode, Synthia and I take some time to talk memories of each other in the early days of our friendship, where we've been over the years and what our friendship means to each of us. We also highlight how we've managed to stay in touch over long distances, despite being busy and in different places in life along the way.
