Abandoned 5,000 year old ruins in Syria - Amrit

In this video, we'll be unveiling the secrets of Amrit, Syria's 5,000-year-old Temple. Amrit was an ancient civilisation in Syria. The ruins are located close to the city of Tartus. This are was less affected by the Syrian Civil War than other areas and so the ruins of Amrit have been very well preserved. This temple is one of the oldest religious sites in the world and is incredibly significant in the history of Syria. This was built before existence of Christianity and Islam.
