Jelica Milosavljević' recalls the old bazaar in Negotin and how in the past people used to cross the border and go to Romanian.

Jelica Milosavljević narrates about years gone by when life used to consist mainly of growing plants and livestock farming in the alpine pasture, a time where people used to walk down to the villages for feasts and celebrations. Jelica used to live with her animals in a farmhouse where winters were hard and she only went down to the village for the holidays. She recounts how people used to go to Romania by crossing the Danube. As as it was difficult to get a visa back then, people ended up crossing the border illegally. Furthermore she reminisces about the old bazaar in Negotin that people reached by carriage to sell their goods and buy household necessities.
