Deep Sea Secrets: Dave Gallo at TEDxMidwest

"We've only explored 5-6% of the sea," Dave Gallo tells the teens of TEDxMidwest. He takes us on a deep sea adventure and shares the beauty and magnificence of life at the bottom of the ocean. But that life comes at a price and his hope is that we start to look at our planet differently so that we can begin adjusting our habits to heal it.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
