TEDxYouth@Bucharest - Irina Sarbu

On May 11th 2012, at Bulandra Theater, TEDxYouth@Bucharest welcomed on stage, for the second year, young role-models, thinkers and activists - people that reshape the world. TEDxYouth@Bucharest - New World Order posed the question: "How else can success be achieved, if one chooses not to take the well worn paths?"

Irina's headline reads more than "actress & singer" -- being in the midst of a highly rewarded and prized musical career, she focuses her singing around jazz and Romanian music. Irina promotes her love for jazz through her discography, performances and even educational programs for children. She is also part of famous cembalist Marius Mihalache Band. She leads the musical journey into the discovery of jazz.
