Mavic vs Wind

I had grand designs to fly over and through the turbines at Royd Moor windfarm today ... until I got there and found I could barely open my car door due to the wind!
I nearly didn't fly at all, but in the end summoned up the courage and took to the skies, albeit in a rather subdued way - no aerobatics today.
The Mavic handled it pretty well up to a height of 115 feet, which was my max recorded altitude - although it was moving around quite wildly during the stronger gusts and at one stage, the gimbal lost track of the horizon, presumably due to the extreme aircraft tilt.
