And it's "back to the sixties" again with Joe Loss and His Orchestra who bring us this groovy version of that golden sixties hit by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich (families were rather big in those days ;-) : 'The Legend of Xanadu'. The cha cha cha presented here inevitably leads your thoughts to the far west (or western movies even) and movie soundtracks like eg 'The magnificent seven' are never far away .....A nice 'faits divers' regarding the original Dave Dee & co release : the orchestral accompaniment for that single was arranged by John Gregory (of whom some uploads can be found on this channel either under his own name or under the pseudonym of 'Chaquito')
Yeah..... it's a small world isn't it - even in the music business ;-) ....
