Six Seal Rescues In One Run!

Six entangled seals in one group - we are wondering just how much rubbish must have been dumped into the ocean to cause this level of pain and suffering. Even the rescuers are visibly shaken by the seriousness of the injuries, especially the gill net entanglement. We also wonder how many seals we do not find because their entanglement is already overgrown, or because the seal is out of sight, or because we are already busy with too many others. As long as the global plastic crisis is worsening every moment, we are fighting an uphill battle. It is not sustainable to treat only symptoms, and not the underlying cause: reckless exploitation of nature and her resources.
