Before we dive into Joe Jonas’s $16.7 million dollar mansion we wanted to take a look back at what it has cost him over the brief 2 years of ownership and what it will cost you if you decide to become the next owner of this beautiful property. Joe and his wife Sophie purchased the home in November of 2019 for $14.1 million dollars. They were responsible for roughly $170,000 per year in property taxes for the short two years and paid roughly $70,000 per year for homeowner’s insurance. So keep those numbers in mind if you plan on shelling out nearly $17 million dollars for this beautiful home, because the costs don’t stop at that staggering purchase price. Joe listed the home for sale in June of 2021 for $16,750,000. Not a bad investment potentially making $2.5 million dollars in a quick couple of years.

The home is a 9 bedroom and 11 bathroom with 15,000 square feet of living space breaking down to about $1,117 per square foot. The home is located in Encino, California at 3904 Valley Meadow Rd. We typically don’t reveal the address of the homes we showcase to protect the celebrities that live in them. However Joe is no longer living there and the home is up for sale and any prospecting owner would live to know where their potential new home is located.

The 16.7 million dollar home is set on roughly an acre of land with a gorgeous backyard space. The home was built in 2019 and Joe became the first owner when he purchased it in November that same year. As you make your way into the gated motor court of the home you will find a 4 car garage straight ahead. Straight ahead you will notice the modern farmhouse exterior which I absolutely love. The entrance to the home is located off to the right. As you enter through the front doors you will find a sitting room with a gas fireplace located off to the right. Next door to the sitting room you will find the home's private library which doubles as a home office or could be a security room. Making a complete 180 and carrying to the left side of the home you will find the massive formal dining room. The double chandeliers hanging from above I absolutely love. Attached to the dining room is a large walk in wine cellar which offers room for a table to taste some wine.

Staying on the right side of the home you will find a large home theater and a home gym perfect for getting that beach body you’ve always wanted. Flipping over to the left side of the home you pass by a wall of bookshelves and the stairs to the second floor. Through the large entrance way brings you into the main living space of the home. You will find a grand fireplace situated front and center with a surrounding seating area. The grand open space is lined with sliding glass doors that creates a seamless indoor outdoor flow that creates the perfect entertainment space. Off to the left you will find the home's kitchen which offers imported stone countertops with custom European cabinets with top of the line appliances. I love the kitchen mainly because it’s situated in such an open and grand location in the home that it turns it into the perfect all in one entertainment space. Plus being able to see your kids in the backyard from the kitchen is a plus for any parent.

Speaking of the backyard as you make your way outside you will find plenty of grass to entertain. Off to the left you will find an outdoor patio with a gas fire pit and an outdoor Barbecue area. There is a large lap pool at the edge of the yard with an attached hot tub. There is a separate guest house at the back of the property that offers a living room with a kitchenette and bathroom on the first floor. And two guest bedrooms located upstairs. Which offers a balcony overlooking the backyard. I would literally be happy living in just the guest house let alone the main house. I love the large tree located in the center of the backyard, it definitely offers some nice shade to the California sun.

Stepping back inside and upstairs is where you will find all of the remaining bedrooms including the master. At the top of the stairs you will find a small sitting area with a gas fireplace that is another nice place to hangout away from the main entertainment space. The master suite comes with a massive open room with vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace. The room offers the same sliding glass doors that the floor below offers, that create a seamless flow from the outside in. The massive balcony that wraps around the back of the home offers great views overlooking the backyard. The master bathroom is absolutely massive and honestly has just about the same square footage as my entire apartment. You’ll find dual vanities and a massive soaking tub and a very unique walk in shower.
