How I fixed a shifted load on a live freeway with my rotator (Sony FX3 footage) - I received the call for this job from California Highway Patrol to respond to a shifted load on the freeway in Los Angeles. You never know what you're getting when you hear the words "Shifted Load". It can be as simple as moving one pallet, or very long multi-truck job. On a load like this where the wood beams are not uniform, and stacked on top of each other in different sections and lengths, two rotators would be ideal or two heavy duty forklifts.

Unfortunately, I do not always have that luxury, especially when working on the freeway. I arrived on scene with my 50-ton rotator, HULK, and after assessing the situation I knew I could do it solo using two spreader bars. Working uneven loads and with live traffic on the freeway can be dangerous, which is why I have the best equipment in my truck to handle any job at any time.
