I'm breaking down what this hot new crypto called Metahero or "Hero", what it is, what it does for Metaverse, and the price of it.

Let’s break down what exactly it is.
Metahero is a recently launched project on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) that combines 3D scanning technology with non-fungible token (NFT) smart contracts to enable the creation of unique meta avatars and meta-objects.

MetaHero has partnered with Wolf Digital World to provide the 3D scans. Wolf Digital isn’t some new company that started last month, they have worked with major players such as Disney, Toyota, Shell and Heineken. Video games like CyberPunk 2077 which has sold over 13 million copies also used some of their technology.

In order to get scanned, you walk into the chamber, very similar to the body scanners used at the airports, just with better cameras which are 4K. The scanner which is equipped with multiple cameras which can complete a scan of up to 4 people in 120 seconds.

Currently there is one scanner in operation which is based in Qatar, with plans to have an initial 12 chambers around the world in strategic locations such as Toko, New York and Berlin to start. The initial set price for a full body scan is 200 US Dollars which is paid with the Hero Token. Initial revenue is estimated to be around 150M in total revenue each year, just from the scans.

The HERO token is a utility token that gives a user access to the Metahero ecosystem. The token employs a novel deflationary model that decreases the total supply over time. In terms of use, HERO gives its holder the ability to transact on the Metahero NFT marketplace, pay for royalties, or fund scans of their own.

The HERO public sale took place in June 2021 via the Tenset Gems Platform. The launch and public presale were followed by an IDO on Pancakeswap in July 2021. The total supply of HERO is capped at 10 billion, and there are locking mechanisms in place to discourage token dumping.

Given its focus on mass adoption, Metahero requires an environment with affordable and fast transactions. And according to the team, the HERO token was launched on BSC with scalability and inclusivity in mind.
