Kgalagadi Green Season - January 2022

I was extremely privileged to experience the various moods of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the green season during my recent visit to this stunning park in January 2022. The 2021 rain season was excellent, resulting in good grass growth. Unfortunately a devastating fire burnt from the Botswana side and left deep scars in the north. This was followed by another fire on Christmas day in the south started by lightning at 13th Borehole . The area was Blessed by good rains in January, in time for my visit towards the end of January beginning of February.
