Power Mac G5 Update 2: New PSU, but no Life – Wind5387
I have finally been able to resume with my Power Mac G5 project. I replaced the old power supply with a functional one, and now I have put everything back together, along with cleaning out the computer of dust and corrosion from the liquid cooling… liquid. However, I believe I have run into a problem with the Air Deflector. As you can see in the video, the fans spin briefly and there is a red LED light when I remove the Air Deflector, but nothing else afterward. With the Air Deflector in the computer, the fans spin but there isn’t any red LED or power.
EDIT: It may be a problem with either the processors or the board.
