We are proud and honoured to present here the Public Lecture of Victor Nemchinov - a recognized master of oral interpretating, an outstanding couch, scholar, commentator and a partisan of the profession. The lecture was delivered at Moscow State University on September 27, 2019.

Dr. Victor Nemchinov is one of the most authoritative and competent freelance conference interpreters with several decades of professional experience working with a range of public figure like Presidents Boris Yeltsin, MiloŠ Zeman, Prime ministers Indira #Gandhi and Eugene #Primakov. A graduate of Maurice Thorez Foreign Languages Institute, Moscow, he is well known as a promoter of emotionally charged school of communication. For over a decade he headed groups of conference interpreters of the World Public Forums Dialogue of Civilizations and works for live broadcast interpretation at Radio ‘Echo Moskvi’. Victor Nemchinov is founder and Chief curator of the international advanced study and life-long learning platform ‘Diaversity’ that has chapters in St. Petersburg, Riga and Moscow.
