Qu’est-ce qu’une OPA ?

L’OPA, offre publique d’acquisition, est l’opération par laquelle une personne, physique ou morale, propose publiquement aux actionnaires d’une société cotée en bourse d’acquérir leur titre à un prix déterminé. Ce prix doit évidemment être suffisamment attractif par rapport au cours actuel pour inciter à les actionnaires à apporter leurs titres à l’initiateur de l’offre.
