Scottish Secretary Alister Jack is first MP to use the word “pish” at the Commons despatch box

SCOTTISH Secretary Alister Jack today became the first MP to use the word “pish” at the Commons despatch box - while describing the SNP’s indy currency plan.

The Tory cabinet minister read out the verdict of pro-independence campaigner Robin McAlpine, who savaged the Scottish Government’s economy and currency paper last month.

Mr Jack’s remarks came in an SNP-led opposition day debate on independence.
