Woodturning - Wooden Skew

Hi everyone!

This video contains the process of making a wooden skew chisel through woodturning.
For its blade I used African wood called Mpingo because of its well-known strength, and the handle was made of ash wood. The ferrule, which holds the end of the handle, was made by cutting the 3/4” (19 mm) brass pipe part.
No matter how hard the Mpingo wood is, I couldn’t try to cut wood, but I think it can only be used for peeling vegetables or fruits. In this video, I cut a carrot with that skew as an experiment. It cut pretty well so I was satisfied and so much fun.

I hope you enjoy watching it!
